Circus summer courses 2020 at SKH

Now you can apply for our summer courses in Circus. Last day of application is 16 March.

Juggling and Movement
For you who wishes to explore and deepen knowledge of juggling and movement practices.
You will have classes on the fundamental principles of moving with and without objects. Internationally renowned experts will share their methods and ideas as you vary with independent training and you will also take part in supervision sessions. Five weeks full-time, start date 1 June. Read more about Juggling and Movement.

Introduction to Creative Rigging within circus
For those who are interested in developing methods and deepening their understanding of safe rigging practices in creative research for circus. We will look at how to use different equipment, risk analysis and working methodologies and then we will explore ways of using that equipment and different materials. We will work on tools to develop ideas for creative rigging in your practice. Two weeks full-time, start date 17 August. Read more about Introduction to Creative Rigging within circus.

Teeterboard
For you who have good prior knowledge of the circus discipline teeterboard, and who wish to develop your technique and aesthetics. The course includes risk analysis in training, the building up of exercises in the support discipline trampoline, and discussions related to aesthetic expression. Two weeks full-time, start date 8 June. Read more about Teeterboard.

Teeaterboard 2
For you who have good knowledge of the circus discipline teeterboard and who wish for further technical development, acrobatic abilities, physical strength and artistic awareness. The course includes continuous training in the discipline teeterboard as well as in the support discipline trampoline.
You can combine this course with Trampoline 1 given during the same period. Two weeks full-time, start date 8 June. Read more about Teeterboard 2.

Trampoline 1
This course is for you who have good prior knowledge of the discipline trampoline, and who want to develop your technique and aesthetics. The course includes risk analysis in training, the building up of exercises and discussions related to aesthetic expression. Two weeks full-time, start date 8 June. Read more about Trampoline 1.
