Florence is a hoop juggler, exploring objects and movement since 2007.
Nourished by a classical dance upbringing and a curiosity for movement and objects, she approached juggling with a nonconventional prop and pushed the existing research with hoops.
She designs shapes in the air and on the floor with circles, reveals spaces that her body can explore and play with.
Taught by a variety of jugglers such as Yuriy Pozdniakov, Johan Swartvagher, Sakari Männistö, Jeanne Mordoj, Jean-Daniel Fricker, Guillaume Martinet, Martin Schwietzke, Florence’s juggling is eclectic and unique.
She collaborated with various companies and artists such as Collectif Protocole, Compagnie ARMO Jerome Thomas, Hidden Circus, Wes Peden, and has toured her solo work over a dozen countries in 3 continents.
Florence takes inspiration in cotton candy and icebergs when her hoops get tired.
