In his new solo performance, circus artist Tuomas Vuorinen processes the feelings of emptiness and meaninglessness he experiences and goes into the forest in search of a solution. Can strengthening the connection with nature remind us of something essential about being human? During the performance, Tuomas builds the forest of his childhood on the stage and invites the audience to join him on a journey, in search of the source of vitality.
Maannos is a contemporary circus piece based on object manipulation and staff juggling. A mysterious dream from childhood marks the route on this cyber shamanic journey through the plastic forest.
Maannos is aimed at people interested in nature connection, video games or interdisciplinary art.
