The last supper is a modern circus performance, that uses circus, dance, physical theatre, music and lots of humour to explore the subject of self destruction and the negative spiral that is set in motion by personal or societal tragedy.

Through five characters personal stories, blurted out during one last meal, whereafter they wont ever see eachother again, universal subjects in society, as well as on personal levels, can be sensed, allowing the audience to reflect on this behavior, and creates a surprising and very intimate performance. Parts of the audience is seated with the performers on stage and through them the audience participates in the last supper, as close to the artists as you can get.

The cast consists of physical performers, who each specialize in their own unique circus discipline. They originate from, and have performed in different parts of the world. In The last supper, they come together for the first time to explore the phenomenon of self destruction and the overriding urge to get everything out on the table before the inevitable abyss.
